Shoogly és una banda indie-rock nascuda durant els primers dies del 2017 que ha llançat el seu primer EP, "Long Winter", a principis del 2018. Al gener del 2019 publiquen el seu segon treball, "Hammerhead", i un any més tard arriba el seu tercer EP, "Crowded Hours", i el single "Northern Anchovies". Malgrat els diferents orígens dels seus components –Catalunya, Escòcia i Anglaterra–, tots ells comparteixen una passió comú per la música popular britànica i nord-americana, rock i postpunk dels 70, 80 i 90. A les seves cançons estan presents des de Neil Young a Van Morrison, des de Joy Division a The Smiths, des de Beatles a R.E.M, sense oblidar els més recents Wilco, Ron Sexsmith, Fleet Foxes o The Decemberists. 

 

Shoogly is an indie-rock band formed at the beginning of 2017 and they released their first EP, "Long Winter", at the beginning of 2018. In January 2019 they published their second release, "Hammerhead" and a year later they published their third EP, "Crowded Hours", and the single "Northern Anchovies" Despite the different origins of their members –Catalonia, Scotland and England–, they share a common passion for British and American folk, rock and postpunk from the 70's, 80's and 90’s. Their music is full of influences ranging from Neil Young to Van Morrison, from Joy Division to The Smiths, from The Beatles to R.E.M., without forgetting more recent artists like Wilco, Ron Sexsmith, Fleet Foxes or The Decemberists.
